Grlpwrart was started by Nicole, a NYC Queens Native! In her time at Parsons School of Design she developed a love for creating lasercut accessories and manufacturing wearable art items - she started out with silkscreened apparel and expanded to purchasing her very own lasercutter to produce acrylic accessories! Immediately after her senior year of college, she began a traditional tattoo apprenticeship and graduated to full time artist in 2023.

Her work is heavily inspired by the multiple mediums she has worked in - from traditional tattoo imagery such as panthers and kewpies to her color work - which is often brightly colored, heavily saturated and graphic similar to her silkscreen work.
