About Grlpwrart

Hi! My name is Nicole and I was born and raised in Queens, NYC. I'm a 24 year old artist, current tattoo apprentice and freelance illustrator/designer. A lot of my work focuses on the kitsch and fun - my items are the perfect "Ms. Frizzle" accent to your wardrobe. 

The main focal point of my shop is lasercut accessories, my original illustrations in sticker and print form, and sometimes silkscreened onto apparel! Ive always loved creating brightly colored, high detail work and i've always loved drawing animals,

bugs, pop culture, and kewpies! Im currently focusing on a full time career in tattooing and i'm apprenticing under Jes Valentine at Haven Studio in Ridgewood!

I am a graduate of Parsons School Of Design in NYC with a BFA, where I focused on a major in illustration and printmaking as my minor.
